There are plenty of hotels in Nanning. With the bus station located in the heart of the city and the railway station at about 2 km's you can easily stay in the city center, if you wish. However, if you wish, we recommend the Xiangyun Hotel Naning, only 10 minutes from the railway station. Later, when I came back in Yangshuo, I recommended the hotel to other people who came back with rave reviews.

The Yongjiang Hotel Nanning is a business hotel with all the facilities (in 2000 there was no wireless but there is now) you can expect from a 4 star hotel.

The Chang Long Hotel Nanning is a very good choice for tourists searching for decent priced hotels in Nanning. The quality and strategically position in Nanning right in the heart of the city makes this hotel a great choice for tourists.

The hotel has very good standard rooms very reasonable priced, especially for a city like Nanning. The service has always been good and the hotel has a decent restaurant (although out in the area there are plenty of cheaper restaurants).

For travelers on a budget, this is probably one of the better choices.

Minhang Hotel Nanning

The Minhang Hotel Nanning is one of the cheaper 3 star hotels in Nanning. close to shopping center, The hotel has 137 standard rooms, business rooms and deluxe rooms with internet access, DDD/IDD, cable TV system, fire alarm system, satellite TV protected system etc. It is the kind of hotel you can't loose your money on, with good clean rooms and a good friendly service this is one of the better and cheaper hotels in Nanning.

Fu Man Di Hotel Nanning

Another 3 star hotel in Nanning is the Fu Man Di Hotel Nanning which is located in the heart of modern Nanning city.

The hotel is a typical modern build hotel which didn't have much attraction to me on the outside. However, once in the lobby of the hotel, a warm welcome immediately reached me. And with a restaurant (though I didn't check it myself) and a sauna (I did check that and it was very enjoyable) this is a hotel where you get a very good quality for a very decent price.

Wan Xing Min Zhu Hotel Nanning

The Wan Xing Min Zhu Hotel Nanning is a 3 star business hotel close to the Chaoyang gardens. With 75 rooms and a Chinese restaurant and coffee shop, serving delicious food and drinks this is a decent place to stay. The hotel has a gym, free for guests to use.

Mekong Hotel Nanning

The last of the hotels in Nanning we want to mention is the Mekong Hotel Nanning. The hotel is locateda a little outside the city center on the bank of Mekong river. The city center is near enough, it is about 25kms away to Nanning airport and 40kms away to railway station. We haven't stayed in the Mekong Hotel but we got rave reports of the hotel views and the restaurant which is supposed very good.
