Flights to Guilin and China

With Guilin as transport hub there are plenty of flights to Guilin and further to China available. Guilin might not be your end destination, that will certainly be Yangshuo, but Guilin has an international airport.

Guilin Liang Jiang International Airport is located 28 km west of Guilin city center and 70 km north west of Yangshuo. The airport is connected by a motorway to both Guilin and Yangshuo.

If you have an international flight, you can chance money at the airport at the Bank of China (usually opened from 08:30 to 20:30) and there's an ATM for Cirrus/Maestro, Visa and Mastercard.

Travel to Yangshuo from Guilin Liang Jiang International Airport

There are basically two ways: bus and taxi. There is a bus from the airport to Guilin city center. The bus leaves every 30 minutes and you can continue in Guilin using the local bus to Yangshuo (Y15, 1.5 hours). Total travel time can up to 3 hours depending on what time the free bus leaves from 6.30 until 20.00hrs). In the evening there are less buses from Guilin to Yangshuo. There is no direct bus from the airport to Yangshuo.
